Pros and Cons

Acer Chromebook Spin 311

Strengths

It has a nice IPS touch panel display with good colors and contrast.
The build quality is excellent, even for a budget convertible chromebook.
It comes with a Wacom digitizer which offers a really good writing experience.
The keyboard and trackpad are very comfortable and offer decent key travel.
The HD webcam supports HDR and is serviceable for conference calls.
Battery life is up to 10 hours, and it gets fully charged from zero percent in about 90 minutes.

Weaknesses

Build quality of some other chromebooks in its price range is pretty bad.
Loudspeakers are tiny and don't produce bass at all, affecting media consumption experience.
The base model comes with only 4GB of RAM and 32GB of storage, which may be limiting for some users.
The camera quality isn't good in low light conditions, making it less useful for certain tasks.
The price is a little pricey, especially considering the extra $400 for more RAM and storage.
It doesn't come with a privacy shutter or a webcam disabled key, which may be a concern for some users.

Samsung chose to reduce the pixel density dial back features and keep an older processor in play to introduce a more affordable follow-up to their last chromebook attempt for google this approach worked in a very surprising fashion making the pixelbook go one of my all-time favorite laptops
The screen's an absolute win, I don't miss the 4k amoled at all
The processor choice and addition of fans are other good moves to save money
The core i3 is capable and the fans keep things cool
The larger battery cell drastically improves battery life versus the original
The display is beautiful
