Pros and Cons

Acer One 14

Strengths

This thing runs games well after you plug it in, cuz runs games well after that
The display is pretty good with a 1366x768 resolution and 60Hz panel, colors are accurate and clear for gaming
It can game like at some games like old games like 2013-2015 games can do pretty well I medium to high graphics
This thing's performance on battery life gets very slow when you unplug it, but still impresses me how fast this thing is when you plug it in
The speaker test results are decent with a max FPS of 1849 and an average P of 234 at lowest settings possible
It can run low-end games at decent FPS with simple content quality

Weaknesses

This thing gets very slow when you unplug it, making gaming on battery life not recommended
The performance drop off is so insane that you can't even watch 1080p YouTube videos lagging a bit
Temperatures get high with an average temperature of about 73°C and max temperature of 94°C during multi-test
Fan speed gets too loud with a max fan speed of 95% making it audible
The GPU performance is mediocre, not the highest you can get, and doesn't like certain games or apps
It can get pretty hot in just 16 minutes for multi-C test

Acer Chromebook Spin 312

Strengths

A solid performer
The small size (12.2 in) is a plus
Feels fairly solid in the hand with a weight of about 1.31 kg
Decent selection of ports and connectivity, including HDMI port
Keyboard deck is familiar and has more medium to deeper travel for comfortable typing
Ocean glass branded touchpad feels extremely smooth and responds well to taps and clicks
Estimated battery life of around 13h hour with light use

Weaknesses

The build quality could be improved (too plastic-y)
Sound quality is still pretty average
IPS touch display might not live up to ACA's claim of 300 nits brightness
No pen support on this model, only USI pen supported on higher spec version
Entry-level HD webcam, which can't compete with full HD webcams from other Chromebooks
Bezels aren't exactly small, might be handy for holding the screen in tablet mode though
Only available with Intel M100 processor in the UK, not the more powerful Core i3n 305
