Pros and Cons

Alienware m18 R1

Strengths

The Alienware M18 is a good first go for an 18-inch laptop from Dell Alienware
The looks are well, it's up to you but I think alien Wees look pretty cool
It has nice build quality on it and keyboard is to die for
You can get it with DDR 5 4800 MHz Ram or faster Ram too as an option that's available
It's a good performer and if you're into alien Wares and you want something big, it don't get bigger than this

Weaknesses

The CPU temperature is running so high for such a big chassis with so much fancy cooling going on
The displays are decent but I would like to see some more shock in all of the contrast maybe mini LED when you're getting into the upper tier W Dell offers
It's not exactly expected huge battery life here, Intel 13 gen probably the same will be true for Intel 14th gen
Dell claims about 5 and 1 half hours of streaming video time which seems perhaps optimistic
The speakers are just okay, some base not a lot, a reasonable volume enough to drown out the fans

Acer Predator Helios Neo 16S AI

Strengths

The display is amazing, with a 16in 16x10 aspect ratio OLED panel that offers 100% sRGB coverage, 98% DCIP3 coverage, and 96.8% Adobe RGB.
The laptop has a very slim design, making it easy to carry around while still offering a full-size keyboard with a number pad.
The Intel Core Ultra 9 and RTX 5070 Ti combination provides excellent gaming performance, even in demanding games like Cyberpunk 2077.
The price of RM11,999 is very enticing considering the specs and features offered.
The laptop's cooling system can handle turbo mode, although it gets quite loud.
The high color gamut coverage on the OLED panel makes it suitable for gaming and creative work.

Weaknesses

The speaker quality is below average, which may be a concern for those who don't wear headphones.
The fan noise can get very loud when running in turbo mode, which may be distracting.
The max TGP of the RTX 5070 Ti is limited to 115W, which may affect performance in demanding games.
The laptop's design makes it prone to overheating, especially in turbo mode.
