Pros and Cons

AORUS 16X

Strengths

The design is pretty cool with a unique blue color that shines differently depending on the light
The laptop weighs only 5.07 lbs, which is not too heavy to take to school or work
The Intel i7-14650 HX CPU provides faster performance compared to most Meteor Lake processors
The Nvidia RTX 470 GPU can handle gaming at high resolutions with ease
The heat management is good, with no issues of hot keyboards or CPUs
The battery life is impressive, lasting up to 8 hours on a single charge
The laptop has upgradeable RAM and storage options, making it easy to customize

Weaknesses

The software features, specifically the Gigabyte Control Center, are somewhat lacking
The speakers are not great, producing only 53-55 dB of sound even on high settings
The fan noise can get quite loud when running in Turbo mode
The single core clock speeds may not be as impressive as other Meteor Lake processors
The multi-core speeds are good, but not necessarily better than the competition
The RTX 470 GPU's boost clock speed is slightly lower than expected
The price of $1949 may be on the higher side compared to competitors

Asus Zenbook Pro 14 OLED

Strengths

The laptop boasts an excellent OLED panel, well above the market average.
It handles heavy tasks in a content creator's life well.
You can also play a game afterward, but don't set your expectations as high as for the Zenbook Pro 16X OLED.
The autonomy isn't bad for this processor - of course, with a Low Power processor from the U or P series, we would have easily surpassed 10 hours, but here we're not dealing with an ordinary office ultrabook, on the contrary, we have a powerhouse.
The charging is quite fast, reaching 50% in 30 minutes and hitting the psychological threshold of 80% in an hour.

Weaknesses

It's not a gaming laptop, so don't set your expectations too high.
The autonomy isn't top-notch due to the power-consuming OLED panel and hungry processor.
We would have easily surpassed 10 hours with a Low Power processor from the U or P series, but that's not what we got here.
You'll need to choose a lower brightness setting if you want to get closer to 8 hours of autonomy.
The price is not mentioned in the review, so it's unclear how expensive this laptop might be.
