Pros and Cons

Asus Chromebook C425

Strengths

The performance wise internal wise I had no issue whatsoever with this chromebook
The core m3 8th gen processor so plenty of horsepower to do really anything I threw at it
With a 1080p screen the chromebook doesn't have to work quite as hard and I was able to get plenty of battery life as well easily in that 8 to 10 hour range
I would love to have seen this one with 128 gigs of storage since you're kind of lacking in a couple other areas it'd be nice that 128 was just kind of thrown in there
The internals here performed very very well had no issues with them
When paired up with eight gigs of ram and 64 gigs of internal storage I think devices in this price range so anywhere between four and six hundred dollars eight gigs of ram should be the the bottom line
Eight gigs of ram should be the bottom line there should not be four gig devices out there in this price bracket
It's going to get you through a day no problem you're not going to have to go hunting for a charger and finding electric outlets wherever you're working it does really great

The keyboard is large, well-spaced, and has good travel, making it comfortable to type on.
The trackpad is solid and responsive, great for navigating Chrome OS.
The speakers are decently loud and have good sound quality, considering the price point.
The Intel Celeron N4500 Processor provides decent performance for light gaming like Roblox.
Battery life is okay, but you'll need to charge it most days due to the big screen.
The build is fully plastic, with a bit of flex, and weighs in at 4.74 pounds, which is relatively cheap considering its size.
There's a good range of ports, including dual USB-C, a headset Jack, a Micro SD card slot, and a Kensington Lockport.

Weaknesses

The large screen may not be suitable for traveling with, as it can be bulky to carry around.
Battery life could be improved, especially considering the size of the screen.
The build is made of plastic, which may not feel as premium as some other Chromebooks on the market.
There's no backlit keyboard option on this model, but there are variations with touchscreens and more storage options.
The webcam is only 0.9 megapixels, which may not be sufficient for video conferencing or online meetings.
The speakers can sound tinny at times, although they're decently loud.

The ASUS Chromebook C425 is an affordable and feature-packed laptop that's perfect for those on a budget. With its sleek design, impressive performance, and long battery life, this device is sure to please. However, it also has some notable drawbacks, including a dim screen and mostly plastic build quality.
