Pros and Cons

Asus E410

Strengths

The Asus e410 is one of the best built and lightest budget laptops I've seen.
This laptop comes in at just $100, which is almost insane to think about, making it one of the highest value for money machines ever.
The build quality is actually quite decent
The outer design of the laptop is quite unique with letters and symbols shown there in a very abstract way, making it a nice looking laptop with a nice shine to it
The battery life is one of the standout features of the Asus e410, lasting for around 10 hours on a regular use day.
The sound quality is surprisingly good, producing clear and Punchy sound.

Weaknesses

The keys have a bit of a rough texture and are very spongy with little bounce back
The display is quite dull even when turned up to full brightness
The laptop isn't that suitable to be used outdoors due to the dull display
There's only 64GB of eMMC storage, which means there isn't much space to install software or games
The performance on this model won't allow for heavy image editing or gaming
The lack of an Ethernet port is something that's missing even over more expensive laptops

Lenovo V17

Strengths

A really good entry-level laptop with a decent build quality for its price.
Enough power for everyday tasks and even some gaming.
An exceptional screen for its price category.
Nice battery life.
Decent build quality for its price.
Some nice features for its price.
Perfect for surfing, Office programs, YouTube, lighter gaming, and Advanced picture editing to some extent.
Can be used for University with proper energy saving shut off timings and power consumption.

Weaknesses

The touchpad could be improved with further driver updates.
Some stutters in CS:GO at very low settings in 1080P.
Frame times aren't really good in Control at 1080p with 720p resolution scaling in low settings.
Capping the FPS at 30 would be a good possibility to further soften the frame times in Control.
Minecraft might not run as fast with only 8GB of RAM.
Not ideal for demanding games, but can play some lighter games or lower settings.
The laptop is quite large (17 inches) and may not be suitable for those who prefer smaller laptops.
Prices start at $400 in lower configurations, which might be a bit steep for some budget-conscious buyers.
