Strengths

The Asus Expert Book P1 is a humble, non-nonsense notebook that just wants to be your everyday companion.
It comes with great battery life, performance, and a generally decent build.
The full-size keyboard is a nice feature to see in this notebook.
The trackpad is decent size and feels very tactile to use and click on.
The fingerprint sensor is a nice touch in the trackpad.
It's designed to be a general day-to-day notebook, which it does well.
The build quality feels sturdy with little to no wobble on the screen when typing.
The notebook handles its workload quite well, with good thermal management.

Weaknesses

The display is only 1080p and not incredibly bright at only 300 nits.
Color range is very limited, making it unsuitable for designers or those who need accurate color representation.
There's no backlight on the keyboard keys, which can be a problem in low-light environments.
Upgrading RAM is not possible due to single slot design, limiting performance.
The notebook struggles with technical performance benchmarks, likely due to power limitations and single channel RAM.
Fan noise was only manageable during standard use, and could become loud when pushed hard.

It's built very well, with a firm smooth laptop body made of aluminum and magnesium alloy

Battery life could have been a lot longer, lasting only about three hours and 54 minutes on our standard battery benchmark test
