Pros and Cons

Asus ExpertBook P5

Strengths

The expert book P5's keyboard is well built with decent travel on HK strike
It has a physical IDing privacy Shadow, which I do like having rather than a digital or software one
The expert book P5 does rather well in GPU performance, making it suitable for calculations and work that involve leveraging the GPU
It has full Windows app compatibility, which is an advantage over co-pilot plus PCs running on arm

Weaknesses

The design of the ExpertBook P5 is not exactly fancy, as it's a business-centric model with an AI focus
The battery life of the ASUS X P5 is still quite disappointing, despite being decent for most purposes
It doesn't live up to ASUS's hefty battery life promises, which claimed up to 28 hours of battery life
While avoiding arm compatibility issues, it doesn't compete with the best co-pilot plus PCs running on arm in terms of battery life

Alienware x14

Strengths

The Alienware x14 is surprisingly thin at just 14.5mm, making it one of the thinnest gaming laptops available.
The device has a magnesium alloy chassis that provides tanky durability despite its slim profile.
The keyboard and trackpad are both excellent, with good feedback and mechanics on the keyboard and precise tracking on the trackpad.
The battery life is significantly longer than Razer's Blade 14, making it a great option for those who want a long-lasting device.

Weaknesses

The device is noticeably heavier than its competitors, such as Asus' G14 and Razer's Blade 14.
The system is limited by the 130W AC adapter, which restricts the GPU performance to a 70W RTX 3060, making it less ideal for gamers who want high-end GPUs.
The speakers on the device are not great, even with Dolby software, and would be considered trash without it.
The device's cooling system is able to handle heat well, but it doesn't offer the top-end GPU performance that some users might expect.
