Pros and Cons

Asus ROG Flow X13

Strengths

The expandability that it gives is good.
The screen is of high quality.
The 16 by 10 display is great.
The microphone setup is good.
The speakers are good.
It's well built.

Weaknesses

Battery life is not good.
Long-term gaming and productivity use case is not good.
Thermal issues make it hard to perform as its specs would indicate.
GPU temperatures averaged between 80-85 degrees Celsius and were roughly around a thousand megahertz all the time.
CPU temperatures averaged around 89 degrees Celsius and never really went above 3.2 gigahertz.
Performance drops significantly with extended use, losing between 25-50% performance depending on how long you want to use the laptop for.

Razer Blade 18

Strengths

The dual native resolution is wonderful.
Thermal performance was fantastic. I have zero complaints there.
The dedicated GPU runs up to 175 watts. The total TPP or total package power of this laptop, is 280.
I absolutely love this laptop. It's one of the best laptops that I've reviewed this year.

Weaknesses

It's ridiculously expensive.
It's 18 in. It's heavy and more of a desktop replacement rather than a proper laptop that you can carry everywhere.
There are other 18-in laptops on the market that provide better value for a lower price, but you are going to be taking a hit in terms of build quality.
A haptic touchpad would have been a nice addition for such an expensive laptop.
