Pros and Cons

Asus ROG Strix SCAR 15 G533

Strengths

A total upgrade from the G532 with a lot of exciting features and gaming firepower to offer for what it is priced at.
The design updates are really good, making it look very presentable on a workspace.
The 15.6 inch full HD display with 300Hz refresh rate panel has excellent color accuracy and brightness.
The loudspeaker is one of the best I've heard on a gaming laptop, sounding better than MacBook Pro speakers.
The keyboard layout is great with dedicated volume keys and a microphone mute button.
The trackpad has good tracking performance and capacitive numpad which doesn't accidentally turn on when typing.
The ROG Keystone saves system profiles and enables a hidden secure drive for storing files (useful for owners of other ROG gaming systems).
The laptop's battery life is hands down the best I've ever come across, lasting 7 hours in power saving mode.

Weaknesses

The scalper prices of GPUs are extremely expensive and don't make sense to pay for.
There's still no webcam on this laptop (but a smartphone camera can be used as a workaround).
The keyboard area remains pretty cool even when the laptop is on full load.
The fans dissipate heat through the left and right vents, causing discomfort when gaming.
CPU temperatures average around 67°C in performance mode.
No USB ports are available on the right side, requiring dongles for connecting devices.
There's no teleport support on the USB-C port on the rear (although charging over USB PD is supported).
Microsoft's Flight Simulator scored an average of 37 frames per second on high-end graphics settings.

Asus Vivobook 15 OLED

Strengths

The most affordable OLED laptop you can buy in the market right now starting from 3199 Ringgit
Better performance with AMD's Ryzen 5000 series mobile processors under the hood
Gorgeous display with deep blacks, saturated colors, and up to 600 nits of brightness
Good viewing angles and a screen that isn't reflective at all despite being a glossy panel
Decent battery life with up to 7 hours on a single charge for lightweight productivity or watching movies
Upgradeable RAM via the SO-DIMM slot, making it great for future upgrades

Weaknesses

A slight price bump from last year's model
No Ergo lift hinge, which raises the keyboard height for better typing experience
Only two full-size USB ports on the left side, both of which are USB 2.0 ports
No USBC charging option, which can be a deal breaker for some users
Screen flickers occur when working on a light background with low screen brightness levels
Limited performance for heavy tasks such as 4K video edits
