Strengths

The Asus Vivo book 14 flip brings a premium design and top-notch performance at this price point
The laptop offers a backlit keyboard, which is convenient for working in dim lighting conditions
The touchscreen display is vibrant and offers rich colors with good level saturations
The Intel Core Ultra 7-258 processor offers up to 4.8 GHz of boost speed for smooth performance
The battery is reliable and long-lasting, providing 10-12 hours of screen time on a single charge

Weaknesses

The screen wobble issue makes it sometimes uneasy to use the touchscreen while in laptop mode
The screen is slightly reflective, making it difficult to use when light sources are directly behind you
The refresh rate of 60Hz could be higher for a smoother scrolling and viewing experience
There's some crinkling sound noticeable at full volume on music or movie playback
The laptop has some heat management issues during intensive usage, although it didn't get too hot

Asus TUF Dash F15 FX517

Strengths

The new Asus TUF Dash F-15 fx517 is indeed pretty thin and light, especially given its hidden gaming nature.
It meets the military-grade a10h standards despite the smaller chassis.
The keyboard has a 1.5 millimeter travel distance and a numpad section, with wasd keys that are transparent.
The touchpad offers excellent gliding and tracking while also having a much larger surface area compared to last year's model.
There are three panels to choose from, including a 144Hz refresh rate IPS panel and a 165Hz QHD resolution panel that covers 100% of the ultra-wide DCI-P3 gamut.
The battery life is very good, allowing it to reach almost 9 hours of web browsing or a bit less than 7 hours of video playback.

Weaknesses

It reached almost 60 degrees Celsius on the outside when put under heavy load in its predecessor model, and we weren't happy about that.
The base display option may not be the best for color-sensitive work, but it goes easy on the battery life.
If you need maximum performance, you'll have to make the notebook use the discrete GPU, which can boost the frame rate by up to 30%.
The top configuration has an RTX 3070 with 105 watt TGP, which is more than 30% higher than the fx516's best GPU.
The cooling system can still get quite hot under heavy load, although it's improved from its predecessor model.
We'd like to see even more potential unleashed from the CPU via software update.
