Fast USB Type-C ports that can hit speeds up to 1 gigabyte per second

Weaknesses

Not suitable for serious gaming, achieving less than 30 fps on 1080p resolution
Lacks a headphone jack, requiring Bluetooth or USB speakers
Battery life may be short when used for gaming, lasting only around 2 hours
May not be the best choice for those who want a laptop primarily for gaming

Acer Nitro 17

Strengths

The Acer Nitro 17 has a solid feel with sharp lines, four Zone RGB LED lines on the keyboard system, and a rough gaming design that's reminiscent of the old days.
The device has a unique way of operating, but it helps to understand how it controls its performance
The CPU is an i7-13700H which is not too different from the i712700h
The RTX 4060 GPU is better than last year's 3060 and can usually push up to 120 and 130 FPS at 2K and high settings in games like Halo
The laptop surface stays cool even during gaming sessions, with temperatures around 70 degrees Celsius for the CPU
The screen has a 2K and 165 Hertz display that's both sharp and smooth, making it great for playing AAA games without needing an external monitor
The device can push CSGO over 300 and 400 FPS, as well as many other games at 2K resolutions

Weaknesses

The performance of the device is only on paper, and in reality, the CPU and GPU almost never reached their maximum power
The laptop's build quality is only decent in its segment, with a poorly applied logo that peels off easily
The chassis still makes a glossy plastic finish, which can be unstable in terms of build quality
The device's performance was lower than expected during gaming sessions, with FPS dropping to around 80-90 compared to other laptops with the same RTX 4060
It's unclear why Acer increased the power supply for the RTX 4060 to 140 Watts when in reality it never achieved the performance even in Turbo mode
The device's cooling system is excellent, but it can be misleading as it may be due to power limitation rather than actual cooling
Some of the design elements, such as the logo and chassis finish, are not well-made and can be distracting
