Pros and Cons

Asus Zenbook Pro 14 OLED

Strengths

The laptop boasts an excellent OLED panel, well above the market average.
It handles heavy tasks in a content creator's life well.
You can also play a game afterward, but don't set your expectations as high as for the Zenbook Pro 16X OLED.
The autonomy isn't bad for this processor - of course, with a Low Power processor from the U or P series, we would have easily surpassed 10 hours, but here we're not dealing with an ordinary office ultrabook, on the contrary, we have a powerhouse.
The charging is quite fast, reaching 50% in 30 minutes and hitting the psychological threshold of 80% in an hour.

Weaknesses

It's not a gaming laptop, so don't set your expectations too high.
The autonomy isn't top-notch due to the power-consuming OLED panel and hungry processor.
We would have easily surpassed 10 hours with a Low Power processor from the U or P series, but that's not what we got here.
You'll need to choose a lower brightness setting if you want to get closer to 8 hours of autonomy.
The price is not mentioned in the review, so it's unclear how expensive this laptop might be.

Acer Predator Helios Neo 16

Strengths

This laptop has very good display, gets really bright over 500 nits of brightness, with good color gamut and accuracy.
It has tons of I/O to utilize, including full-size Ethernet Jack, USB-A ports, micro SD slot, headphone jack, and two Thunderbolt 4 Type-C ports.
The battery life is pretty good, lasting 6 hours and 58 minutes before needing a charge.
Performance-wise, it trades blows with the Lenovo Legion 5 Pro, making it suitable for developers, Creative applications, and 3D artists.
Acer did a better job with fan tuning, keeping them lower compared to previous products in Performance or Balanced mode.
The keyboard and DAC never got too hot, and the CPU temps stayed in the 70s after intense usage.
