Pros and Cons

Dell Inspiron 14 Plus 7420

Strengths

I'm very impressed with this laptop...it's gonna have a really nice 14 inch 2.2 K display
The strong chassis design, good Port selection, very impressive performance between the CPU and the GPU, Thunderbolt 4 Port that it has, the fact that it has upgradable Ram SSD and Wi-Fi are all positives
The crystal clear array mics, the impressive full HD 1080p webcam, the decent stereo speakers and the respectable battery life all come together to make this a definite Choice here
It packs a punch under the hood...making it worth your money

Weaknesses

It can get a little hot depending on what you're doing if you're putting it on maximum load
The fans can get loud under heavy load which is to keep it cool of course and it is expected
The PCI gen 3 speeds here on the SSD are not the Gen 4 that we know it does support
A bit of a drawback, but there's a lot to like here

HP Dragonfly Folio

Strengths

The laptop has a unique pull-forward design that's both attractive and useful.
The faux leather exterior is grippy, durable, and looks nice - it's a great alternative to the usual metal or plastic bodies.
The keyboard is nice and responsive with good tactile feedback.
The pen included with touch screen is Wacom AES and has a good set of software features - it's perfect for note-taking.
The laptop supports Intel x211 Wi-Fi 6E with Bluetooth 5.3, as well as optional 4G LTE or 5G Intel 5000 series modem.
The display on the base IPS model is decent, with near full sRGB coverage and high contrast ratio.
The battery life is good, with up to 8-9 hours of mixed productivity work and video conferencing.
The laptop has a compact size and weighs around 2.5 pounds - making it perfect for business travelers.

Weaknesses

The display calibration is not particularly good, especially in terms of color accuracy.
The OLED display option may have worse battery life due to its higher resolution and power-hungry nature.
The pen has some jitter when doing slow diagonal lines - although this didn't seem to affect sketching or drawing.
The laptop only has two Thunderbolt 4 ports, which may not be enough for heavy users.
The headphone jack is a nano SIM card slot if you go with the 4G or 5G options - limiting its use as an audio-only device.
The color gamut of the base IPS display isn't suitable for professional content creators.
The laptop's size and weight may make it difficult to carry in large quantities, despite being compact.
The price of the HP Dragonfly Folio is not explicitly mentioned, which may be a drawback for some users.
