The Quad HD Plus display has excellent color coverage (93.1% srgb, 66.2% Adobe RGB, 67.9% DCI P3) and maximum brightness of 400 nits.
The speakers are great sounding, with good balance and loudness.

The display can only go up to a maximum of 120°, which may be a limitation for some users.
The performance is slightly lower compared to other quadcom integrated computers, with around 5-8% less performance.
There is limited app support, and users should check compatibility before purchasing.
The power button is located in an inconvenient place on the top right-hand corner.

Honor MagicBook X 16

Strengths

The laptop has excellent build quality with no flexors on the magnesium alloy chassis.
It has a very reasonable weight of 1.75 kilograms similar to the competition.
You get a really nice slim bezel, 16 by 10 aspect ratio, 16 inch IPS display that pushes a 1920 by 1200 pixel resolution and covers 100% of the sRGB color space.
The display has up to 300 nits of brightness which is sufficient for working indoors.

The laptop performs well and I never hear the fans kick in even when running multiple browser tabs, making it a very pleasant experience to work on.

Weaknesses

The display bezel webcam is a pretty underwhelming 720p camera with no IR sensor for facial recognition.
The backspace, enter, and right shift key are shrunken in size which might not be ideal for some users.
The trackpad isn't as large as I would like it to be but tracks well enough that doesn't force me to use an external Mouse.
Battery life is a far cry from what the company claims with only up to 4 hours of usage on a single charge.
The side panel feature can be accessed by pressing the function plus f11 key which might require some getting used to.
