Pros and Cons

Dell Latitude 15 5531

Strengths

The laptop has a durable body that feels like a high-end business notebook.
It features an IR face recognition scanner and an HD or full HD camera, along with a fingerprint reader for added security.
The keyboard is comfortable for typing thanks to its decent key travel and clicky feedback, and it also has a large numpad area.
There are two ultra-fast Thunderbolt 4 connectors, as well as an optional smart card reader on the left side.
The laptop has great upgradability options, including two SODIMM slots for up to 64GB of GDDR5 memory and two M.2 PCIe slots that can work in RAID mode.
The battery life is impressive, lasting 10 hours and 22 minutes of web browsing or 8 hours and 40 minutes of video playback.

Weaknesses

The laptop's build quality is not the thinnest out there, with a weight of up to 1.79kg and a thickness of up to 24mm.
The display has decent brightness and viewing angles, but it lacks vivid colors, covering only 52% of the sRGB color gamut.
The laptop uses aggressive PWM in its display, making it unsafe for eye health (although our Health Guard profile can eliminate this).
The Delta E value is high, indicating inaccurate color representation.
The laptop's display profile was powerless, and there are no options to improve it.
Casual gaming performance is great, but the laptop has only one fan, which might not be sufficient for more intense usage.

HP EliteBook 845 G7

Strengths

The price for a business laptop with a premium aluminum chassis great rigidity all that sort of thing is quite good.
HP is certainly doing a good job of competing with the Lenovo Thinkpad line and we're really happy to see Ryzen options.
Ryzen's typically pretty good at battery life, and we have a 53 watt hour battery which is a good capacity very solid for a laptop this size
The m.2 ssd HP typically uses quite fast ssds in their higher end business laptops and no exception here very good performance out of that

Weaknesses

There's not much excitement about the charger, it's just a standard one
Battery life on this is quite good but may not beat an M1 based MacBook Pro or something like that
The integrated graphics are more built to compete with Intel 10th gen, so gaming might not be the best use for this ultrabook
There isn't much information about the webcam quality
