Pros and Cons

Dell XPS 13 9345

Strengths

This machine is stupidly small, it's crazy how small this thing is right, uh in a world where 14-inch laptops are kind of replacing 13in in some cases this one really bucks the trend by being as Tiny as you can imagine.
The Snapdragon X Elite processor provides better battery life, pushing less resolution and using less power, making it significantly better than the Intel version.
Performance is topnotch, benchmarks really fast on things like geek bench and experientially it is very Snappy, it's nice so it can do everything your Intel Core Ultra 7 version of this could do and probably a little bit faster.
The base model with full HD Plus display is not bad, it's full srgb coverage, it's not horrible looking and it's 500 nits for brightness.

Weaknesses

Limited ports, which the same negatives exist for the Intel model too
The keyboard can be a problem, if you're okay with the limitation of the ports and the keyboard.
The battery life may decrease when running x86 emulation, it'll hit the battery life a bit more but still this is significantly better than the Intel version.
The speakers are not impressive, I mean it's okay but that part's not woohoo, due to the small chassis.

Dell 14 Plus 2-in-1

Strengths

The chassis rigidity just isn't quite there, but it's acceptable.
The keyboard switches themselves are fantastic, and for the most part, it is really, really good.
It is really, really close to being amazing. Might upgrade it to an A minus. Just give it an A minus minus.
It has a tiny bit of detail on this, even though it's completely black.
Dell has in the past neglected their webcams, but this one right here seems like they have changed that.
The battery is exceptional, and able to get us 8 hours and 48 minutes of battery life.
This thing comes in at $850 as spec, and it's on sale for $699, which in my opinion is a fantastic buy.
It's competent enough at everything that I think I can recommend it.
