Pros and Cons

Dell XPS 13 9345

Strengths

This machine is stupidly small, it's crazy how small this thing is right, uh in a world where 14-inch laptops are kind of replacing 13in in some cases this one really bucks the trend by being as Tiny as you can imagine.
The Snapdragon X Elite processor provides better battery life, pushing less resolution and using less power, making it significantly better than the Intel version.
Performance is topnotch, benchmarks really fast on things like geek bench and experientially it is very Snappy, it's nice so it can do everything your Intel Core Ultra 7 version of this could do and probably a little bit faster.
The base model with full HD Plus display is not bad, it's full srgb coverage, it's not horrible looking and it's 500 nits for brightness.

Weaknesses

Limited ports, which the same negatives exist for the Intel model too
The keyboard can be a problem, if you're okay with the limitation of the ports and the keyboard.
The battery life may decrease when running x86 emulation, it'll hit the battery life a bit more but still this is significantly better than the Intel version.
The speakers are not impressive, I mean it's okay but that part's not woohoo, due to the small chassis.

Dell Pro 14 Plus

Strengths

Solid build
Nice new minimalist design theme
Modernized IO ports
Performance is very competitive
Modernized thermos have also improved significantly
Games like Counter Strike 2 comfortably run north of 60 frames per second
Thermals were the key problem with Dell laptops in the past however ever Dell really has turned a new Leaf over here
Self-upgradability is very limited, but you can technically upgrade the m.2 drive

Weaknesses

Cheap skate moments where Dell has some questions to answer
QA issue on my device slightly wobbling at a certain degree of tilt with the actual hinges
Display is unacceptable with full HD display and 60 HZ refresh rate at 300 nits peak brightness
Plastic surface trackpad is cheap skate moment
Limited upgradability, only m.2 drive can be upgraded
Fan noise not so much, hits mid 60 DB when anything moderately intensive
Speaker quality is not top of their mind and experience is pretty flat
Current MSRP pricing is expensive and justifies a $25% cheaper price tag

This 13.4-inch ultrabook boasts a diminutive size, weighing just 2.6 pounds, and features a full Windows 11 experience with an MS Prism emulator for x86 program compatibility. While it shares some negatives with its Intel counterpart, such as limited ports and a cramped keyboard, the XPS 13 9345 stands out for its efficiency, heat reduction, and impressive battery life.

Dell Pro 14 Plus

In the realm of business laptops, the Dell Pro 14 Plus stands out with its sleek design and robust performance. However, upon closer inspection, this device reveals some underwhelming aspects that may detract from its overall value. The inclusion of a plastic surface trackpad, subpar display quality, and questionable QA issues with the hinges are just a few drawbacks that raise questions about Dell's priorities at this price point.
