Pros and Cons

Honor 70 Pro+

Strengths

The Honor 70 series further emphasizes the most significant aesthetic genes of the honor digital series
The Honor 70 Pro has a good grip due to its front and back curved surfaces, making it easy to hold
The phone's screen is quite good in quality, with a high frequency PWM dimming that's rare at this level
The Honor 70 Pro's performance is upgraded to the flagship level with the Dimensity 8000 processor, providing fast charging and software experience
The phone supports 100W super-fast charging, which can charge to more than 30% in 10 minutes and 60% in 15 minutes
The Honor 70 Pro has a high-quality camera system with a 54MP IMX800 main camera, supporting full Focus HDR

Weaknesses

The phone's plastic middle frame is still used, although it's indistinguishable from the look and feel of other parts
There's a noticeable difference in touch feel between the front and back surfaces due to the use of different materials
The phone may get hot during intense usage, especially in the upper part of the fuselage
The price of the Honor 70 Pro+ is not mentioned, but it's likely to be higher than other Honor phones
The screen may show two textures of light gold when the phone is flipped left and right, which might not be desirable for some users
The phone doesn't support LTPo (Low-Temperature Poling) technology, which is usually exclusive to top flagships

realme 14 Pro

Strengths

The color changing design is quite interesting, even if it's a gimmick over time. It feels much better than last year's Real Mi 13 Pro Plus or Xiaomi's Redmi Note 14 Pro Plus for that matter.
It has a solid premium and robust design, military standard A10 Edge compliant, shock resistant, and has all kinds of IP ratings like IP66, IP68, and ip69, which is a first in Realme's mid-range phone.
The display on this thing is nice too, with good color reproduction, touch response, and everything else. It has high PWM dimming, 120Hz refresh rate, works well, and the higher 1.5k resolution makes everything look sharp and RIS.
It also has a huge 6,000 mAh battery that easily gets over eight hours of screen on time with this phone, so 1.5 days of battery life plus it charges pretty fast like within 55 minutes with its 8wat charger.
The camera performance is decent, with good color reproduction and sharpness in images. The primary lens does a fantastic job during nighttime too, with nice details and exposure management.

Weaknesses

It's not the most balanced mid-range phone mainly because of its average performance and a lack of a good Ultra wide lens.
The ultra-wide camera has an average resolution (8 megapixel) that results in average ultra-wide angle images during daytime as well as night, and you cannot shoot 4K videos with it.
You have to settle for 1080p video recording when switching from the primary camera to the ultra-wide camera.
The Snapdragon 7s gen 3 chipset doesn't support 4K 60 FPS recording, so the max you can shoot from the main and front camera is 4K 30 FPS with quality issues like movement wble.
It's not perfect for every aspect, it has some flaws like average performance, ultra-wide lens issues and lack of better chipset which could have made it a king among mid-range phones.
