Pros and Cons

Honor X8

Strengths

Overall it's a really great phone, the everyday use for the phone is great, really smooth magic ui isn't too clunky.
It has a pretty decent performance, with only a couple of apps that needed to be deleted just because I think games or something.
The camera on the front side is a big improvement in terms of photo quality and weirdly enough I did actually find that I preferred some of the selfies that I took using the selfie camera than selfies that I took using the main camera of this phone.
The everyday use for the phone is great, really smooth magic ui isn't too clunky, there was only a couple of apps that I had to delete just because I think games I think it was that I just I'm never going to use so I just got rid of those.
It's a good phone for home movies taking videos of the kids or your pets or anything like that.

Weaknesses

The camera on the Honor X8 is not as good as the majority of the other budget devices that I've used now for considerably less money you can get the Realme C35.
The ultra-wide sensor on the phone just isn't that great, it's got a very low resolution and a narrow f 2.2 aperture so it doesn't let in as much light there's not anywhere near as much detail as what you'll find on the main sensor.
You have to dig into the camera settings to find HDR mode which is was a bit annoying to me because it is nice to just have that on the camera ready to go when you need it.
The video recording tops out at 1080p at 30fps, which is just box standard budget quality video like what I found with the X7 and even a lot of the Motorola phones that I've used.
The price of Honor X8 is near 200 quid while Realme C35 is considerably cheaper about 150 quid.

Huawei nova Y71

Strengths

A budget-friendly smartphone with a large screen, long-lasting battery, and decent camera.
The phone's display is okay in this price range, with a resolution of 720 by 1600 pixels.
The display has a refresh rate of 60hz, which may not be very smooth or responsive but considering the price it's acceptable.
The phone weighs only 199 grams and measures 9 millimeter in thickness, making it lightweight and compact.
The Huawei Nova Y71 is priced at 749 Dirhams here in Dubai, which makes it one of the cheapest phones with a large battery and screen size.
The phone has a massive 6000 milliampere battery that can easily last for 2 days of moderate usage.
The Huawei Nova Y71 supports 22.5 Watts fast charging, which can charge the phone from 0 to 50 in about 40 minutes.

Weaknesses

The display is not very smooth or responsive due to a refresh rate of only 60hz.
The phone has an outdated processor, specifically the Kirin 710a chipset with a clock speed of up to 2.0 gigahertz.
The camera performance is decent in good lighting conditions but struggles sometimes in low-light situations.
The main camera lacks features like Optical Image Stabilization (OIS) or Zoom capability.
The front-facing camera is an 8 megapixel selfie shooter that can take acceptable selfies and video calls, but may not be the best.
The phone has a plastic body with a glossy finish, which may not be as premium-feeling as some other phones.
The Huawei Nova Y71 has a mediocre camera system compared to other phones in its class.
