Pros and Cons

HP EliteBook 665 G11

Strengths

Fantastic performance, a great keyboard, a comprehensive set of security features, and a very generous port selection.
The laptop feels solid and well-built, which is exactly what you want from a business laptop that's going to be tossed in a bag and taken on the road.
It's powered by AMD's Ryzen 5 7535U processor, with fast DDR5 RAM and a speedy PCIe Gen 4 SSD, making it fly through everyday tasks.
The keyboard is comfortable to type on for long periods, and the inclusion of a numeric keypad is a big plus for anyone who works with numbers.
The laptop has a comprehensive set of ports, including two USBC ports with Thunderbolt 4 support, two USBA ports, a full-size HDMI 2.1 port, an Ethernet port, and a headphone and microphone combo jack.
HP's Wolf security suite and self-healing BIOS are on board to keep your data safe.

Weaknesses

The display's color accuracy might not be up to snuff for everyone, especially creative professionals who require more accurate color representation.
The laptop can be a bit heavy to move around with, weighing in at around 1.8 kg or 3.97 lb.
The 45% NTSC color gamut is fine for emails, spreadsheets, and general business use but not ideal for photo or video editing.
It's not the lightest laptop out there, making it less portable compared to other options.

HP ZBook Power G10

Strengths

The HP ZBook Power G10 has a sleek professional aesthetic look with a boxy design that I like.
It's constructed from premium materials, feels solid and durable, and has a spill-resistant feature on the keyboard.
The laptop has Lightning Fast storage, HP auto frame, and HP fast charge, making it a great choice for demanding professionals.
The SSD is very fast, powering up in around 17 seconds, which is quite impressive.
It's lightweight and manageable to walk around the house or travel with, making it ideal for frequent travelers.
The audio quality is surprisingly good, even though it's not Pitch Perfect, and has a nice crisp sound.

Weaknesses

My old HP Pavilion laptop started up quicker than the ZBook, but that's expected given its age.
The ZBook did struggle to load up in comparison to my old laptop, taking around 1 minute and 7 seconds.
I was surprised by how quiet the laptop is even when processing heavy-duty workloads or editing spreadsheets.
I had to check if my old laptop was actually alive, as it took a while to load up!
The ZBook isn't at the level of a Macbook M3 Pro Max in terms of performance, but it's still a strong contender for demanding professionals.
The keyboard backlight is not mentioned as a con, but rather as a positive feature that I was impressed by.
