Strengths

The HP EliteBook 830 G9 is in a sense Elite its premium nature and heavy price tag make the potential consumer base small but if you're looking for the best 13-inch office machine there's nowhere you'd rather be
It comes with a fully aluminum chassis that brings Supreme Flex resistance
The weight has been distributed so well that the laptop feels very portable
The lid also opens up with one hand showcasing the thin bezels that surround the full HD display
There's a privacy shutter however it's not manual like we usually prefer
The keyboard is island-style with Long Key travel and clicky feedback, also Spill resistant
The touchpad is glass-covered and has smooth clicking mechanism (although gets harder to press at the top)
A full HD display is actually a full HD Plus display with a taller 1610 aspect ratio, its viewing angles are excellent, peak brightness of 473 nits, contrast ratio is very high at 1760:1
The laptop uses Alder Lake use series processors which helps it go easy on the battery pack

HP ZBook Fury 17 G7

Strengths

The machine is quite sensible
It's possible to get this machine with integrated graphics, not really sure why but apparently you can
The vapor chamber cooling on the Rtx model is quite nice
The system seems to keep the noise to an acceptable level
HP refreshes their workstation line once every year, so we're coming up to the 8th gen refresh
The G7 has a more thin and light design compared to the G6
The machine is quite manageable for managers who want something with a little power but don't want anything too heavy
The CPU has a generous power envelope, so that's quite nice

Weaknesses

You might struggle to work with the power envelope if you opt for the max specification
The charger is only 200 watts for the Rtx model or 150 watts for the standard T-series graphics based models
Lenovo's machine typically has a 230-watt charger, which could be handy
You might need to drop either the Rtx 5000 or something on the CPU side if you want to go for the max specification
The G7 is not thin and light in the ultrabook sense
There's some performance gap between the Book 15 G7 and the 17 G7, so the 17 might be faster
You'll remember that this charger is only 200 watts for the Rtx model or 150 watts for the standard T-series graphics based models
The system is not ideal if you want to go for the top-end options
