Pros and Cons

HP EliteBook 835 G9

Strengths

The speakers on the 835 G9 are very good in this price range or at least what I paid for it. They're loud, clear, and have reasonably balanced sound from music and movies.
It's a really well-built laptop with a lot to like especially when it comes to Performance if you want that sort of Ultrabook type experience but want to be able to do a little bit of light gaming on the side.
The Windows 11 Pro is a nice bonus for such a budget-friendly device most people won't notice a difference between Windows 11 Pro and home
The webcam has 5 megapixels which should provide better quality compared to lower resolution cameras
Wi-Fi and Bluetooth worked flawlessly, with fast connections and no drops

1080p IPS display looks really good even for just watching content
Banging olsen speakers are a very nice bonus

Weaknesses

Sharp edges take some getting used to handling
Trackpad is not clickable, you have to use the buttons or do a double tap
Backlit keyboard has colors that can't be individually changed
Laptop gets fingerprints easily and requires cleaning
Fans are massive and make a good bit of noise even when idle
Typing experience is fine but the trackpad could be improved
Price point of $1,099 plus tax might be a little high for some
