Pros and Cons

HP EliteBook 840 Aero G8

Strengths

Upgradeability is something that's important to a lot of IT shops and end users who buy these things as well.
The laptop has a nice durable magnesium alloy design.
Optional 4G/5G connectivity is available, making it suitable for mobile workers.
Battery life is pretty good, lasting around 9-10 hours on a charge doing lightweight business kind of work.
The EliteBook 840 Aero G8 features an excellent elite keyboard with crisp and responsive typing experience.

Weaknesses

The display options are limited to 16:9 aspect ratio, which may not be ideal for some users.
There's only one brightness option available, with the non-touch display being the most desirable at 400 nits.
The color tuning of the display is a bit odd, with a gamma value of 1.6 that might need calibration.
The touch screen option has a lower brightness level (250 nits), which may not be suitable for some users.
There's no microSD card slot available, which might be a drawback for users who rely on expandable storage.

Lenovo Yoga Duet 7

Strengths

The Yoga Duet's metal body feels incredibly sturdy and high quality.
The 13 inch display has a 16 by 10 aspect ratio, resolution of 2160 by 1350, resulting in 196 pixels per inch, cutters on the screen look vibrant and to life thanks to its 100 percent sRGB color gamut.
The keyboard cover attaches reasonably strongly to the tablet when put together, the attraction is strong once connected, they won't be easily broken apart.
Editing videos in PowerDirector is generally smooth, filters and animations didn't take long to get applied to all layers of clips
The computer features a PCIe NVMe SSD, resulting in quite decent read and write speeds
The system didn't slow down even when opening a dozen webpages in Chrome, it also has no problem streaming 4k YouTube videos.

Weaknesses

There's no fingerprint reader on board.
The keyboard cover won't tilt up for more comfortable typing angle like the Surface Type Cover does.
The pen supports 4096 levels of pressure but there's a slight amount of latency which makes it feel less instantaneous than the Apple Pencil.
Some 3D games and big applications may suffer from the single-channel memory configuration, although this won't be noticeable for most users.
Fortnite was generally smooth in 720p but Conqueror's Blade didn't feel smooth at all even at 720p with no settings.
The battery life is not great, it gives about five to six hours of screen time in mixed usage.
