Pros and Cons

HP EliteBook 840 G11

Strengths

Decent battery life with around 8 hours work before needing to plug it in
Excellent webcam with 5 megapixel resolution and Windows Studio Effects
Useful ports including two USB Type-C ports, one USB-A port, and an HDMI port
Good upgrades options with two SO-DIMM memory slots and a PCIe M.2 SSD storage slot
Worthy upgrade with the Intel 155U providing respectable performance

Weaknesses

Battery life might not be enough for heavy power users
No SD card reader which is a minor disappointment
Wobbly hinge which is a huge disappointment in an otherwise excellent built quality
Performance might not be exciting, especially for demanding tasks
Upgrade to 155H or 165H models or AMD siblings might be necessary for more power

HP Spectre x360 14

Strengths

gorgeous enough looking quality build
Intel meteor Lake for 2024 is a good performer
the display on this is just so nice
the pen is included in the Box, take that Microsoft Surface for example
the keyboard on this is very tactile

Weaknesses

laptops with OLED displays usually don't have the best battery life unless you're displaying black all the time and those pixels are all turned off
the silver model will show up fingerprints and dust if touched often
the humongous trackpad may not be to everyone's taste
RAM is soldered on board, limiting upgrade options
Wi-Fi 7 is still a relatively new technology and not many people are using it yet
