Pros and Cons

HP EliteBook 850 G7

Strengths

The i5 processor works pretty fast when you start programs, and it goes very quickly and smoothly.
You also have eight gigabytes of ram which is certainly enough for a robust laptop like this one.
The intel uhd graphics 620 as video card transmits a beautiful signal to the screen.
The 15.6 inch ips mod full hd screen with a brightness of 1000 nits is really nice, especially the non-glaring effect on eyes.
The ips panel maintains the color temperature so black is really black and white is really white, which makes movies look really beautiful.
Wi-fi six works really fast and wireless devices can be connected quickly and easily.
The battery life is about 12 hours, so you can use this laptop for a whole day long without any issues.
The speakers are two very good stereo speakers from bang olufsen that produce great sound.

Weaknesses

The price of €1425 euros is too much because you can buy another laptop with better specifications and lower price from an older brand.
There's no comparison to the camera quality of this hp elitebook g7, but it's still a good webcam for team meetings.
You have to type your password because there's no fingerprint reader on this model (although touch id sensor is included).
The keyboard backlight can be useful in dark environments but not necessarily a game-changer.
Some users might find the trackpad buttons as not very special, although it has two physical buttons.
There's no mention of any upgrade options for storage or RAM.
The price might be out of reach for some users who are looking for more affordable laptop options.
Some users might find that Windows 10 Pro is not needed and can go with a simpler version.
This laptop seems to be mainly intended for business use, which might limit its appeal to personal users.

HP ENVY 17

Strengths

Well-crafted build that's sturdy and looks nice
Great premium materials, high-quality display with touch captivity, and impressive IO Port diversity
Excellent performance, great thermals, and decent battery life (up to 9 hours)
Full HD IPS display with wide viewing angles, vibrant colors, and a standard 60hz refresh rate

Weaknesses

Lackluster webcam that struggles in low-light settings
Battery life could be better, especially considering the size of the battery (55 Whr)
Keyboard is one of the worst things about this laptop, with poor typing experience and lack of backlighting
Speakers are underwhelming, with limited volume and decent bass
