Pros and Cons

HP ProBook 450 G9

Strengths

The laptop's all-aluminum chassis is lightweight, stopping the scales at 1.79 kilograms.
The structural Integrity of the laptop is on par with some Flex from the lid and a sturdy base.
Typing on the keyboard is great thanks to the Long Key travel and clicky feedback.
The display is good for General use, but it's not suitable for Creator work
The battery pack lasts for 12 hours and 13 minutes of web browsing or 8 hours and 28 minutes of video playback
The HP ProBook 450 G9 offers two Sodom slots and two m point two slots for Ram and storage upgrades respectively, making it future-proof

Weaknesses

The speakers are a bit too quiet even at max volume.
There are deviations across the entire frequency range of the speakers.
The laptop doesn't show the best performance in Cinebench scores compared to other business laptops with the same processor
The integrated Iris GPU is not as powerful as some other business laptops, and the mx-570 handles itself similarly.
The display only covers 51% of the srgb color gamut, making it unsuitable for Creator work.
The laptop's cooling system, while quiet and cool, doesn't allow the GPU to reach its peak performance.

HP Pavilion 15

Strengths

The new HD Pavilion 15 definitely has a fair bit to offer so you get decent build quality with a nice mix of premium and standard materials.
A great trackpad and keyboard to go along with it and I enjoy the performance you get on this machine given again the configuration.
The laptop has surprisingly good performance on day-to-day tasks like web browsing or watching videos on youtube are going to work in a super fast and snappy fashion as they should.
Even really demanding tasks like 4k video editing actually works in a very smooth and lag free way which surprises me because this laptop only has 8 gigabytes of ram in this particular configuration.
The laptop handles thermals well, with an average surface temperature just above 43 degrees Celsius under unrealistic peak loads.
The Bang & Olufsen stereo speaker setup definitely lives up to its name so you have a decent amount of volume but also nice crisp clear audio that seems to stay even at higher volume levels.
