Pros and Cons

HP Victus 16

Strengths

It's a great price, a fantastic price I got the most powerful configuration that you can possibly buy with this machine and it only cost fourteen hundred dollars.
The design is simplistic yet somehow bold at the same time and it looks really cool and sleek yet somehow also professional looking as well.
Keyboard typing felt fantastic, the keys were super comfortable and the quality of the key presses and how quiet it was rivaled a lot of the other more expensive gaming laptops.
It's one of the best if not the best budget friendly bang for your buck laptops that you can possibly get right now.

Weaknesses

The screen wobble is the most I've ever seen on a gaming laptop, so it is worth noting in your purchase decision if you do a lot of hard typing on your lap or another unstable surface.
Unfortunately, the display's overall brightness was a little dim compared to most, and if you're gonna be in environments with a lot of ambient light it could affect your overall experience.
The lack of lighting effects (no RGB customizations and no animations) is not a big deal but a lot of gaming laptops have this and it looks really cool especially when they're animated.
The webcam's quality was only average, and there were no Windows Hello capabilities or fingerprint options on the keyboard.

HP EliteBook 845 G8

Strengths

The HP EliteBook 845 G8 comes with a standard HP seal on both sides and standard HP packaging, which suggests quality and attention to detail.
The laptop has a premium material and conservative design that hasn't changed much since its release, indicating durability and reliability.
The keyboard is backlit and has very nice buttons, making it comfortable to type on.
The laptop comes with 16GB of RAM, which is a great amount of memory for most users, especially considering the ryzen 5 processor.

Weaknesses

The packaging is weak and bad, which may not be ideal for protecting the laptop during shipping or transportation.
The power adapter is only 45W, which is a shame compared to other laptops that come with more powerful adapters.
There is a defect on the brand new premium laptop, specifically a small dot on the screen that cannot be cleaned.
The power button is located near the backspace key, which may not be ideal for users who frequently press those keys.
