Pros and Cons

HP ZBook Fury 17 G7

Strengths

The machine is quite sensible
It's possible to get this machine with integrated graphics, not really sure why but apparently you can
The vapor chamber cooling on the Rtx model is quite nice
The system seems to keep the noise to an acceptable level
HP refreshes their workstation line once every year, so we're coming up to the 8th gen refresh
The G7 has a more thin and light design compared to the G6
The machine is quite manageable for managers who want something with a little power but don't want anything too heavy
The CPU has a generous power envelope, so that's quite nice

Weaknesses

You might struggle to work with the power envelope if you opt for the max specification
The charger is only 200 watts for the Rtx model or 150 watts for the standard T-series graphics based models
Lenovo's machine typically has a 230-watt charger, which could be handy
You might need to drop either the Rtx 5000 or something on the CPU side if you want to go for the max specification
The G7 is not thin and light in the ultrabook sense
There's some performance gap between the Book 15 G7 and the 17 G7, so the 17 might be faster
You'll remember that this charger is only 200 watts for the Rtx model or 150 watts for the standard T-series graphics based models
The system is not ideal if you want to go for the top-end options
