Hip performance, combining Intel i7-10880H and NVIDIA T1200 as a base model is pretty decent in terms of performance
Build quality is first rate with a lightweight chassis backed by three year warranty
Delicious audio, quad speakers have well-balanced sound quality with enough bass to enjoy your spotify playlist or call of duty gameplay
Onboard memory, the trade-off for having a slim mobile workstation is upgrade options like the memory is non-existent but the same could be said for the competition
Security-wise, comes with a wealth of tools to protect your hardware and data, new in the g8 we have a built-in tile that helps you track down your misplaced device using the tile app on your phone
Tamper lock intrusion detection system, windows hello facial recognition using the ir sensors near the webcam and a fingerprint sensor
HP Long Life 6L 83Whr Lithium-ion battery provides about six to seven hours of battery life with general usage
Pricing is understandable considering cpu and gpu shortages with the rtx 3070 and 3080 range

Strengths

The 16in OLED display is beautiful with a resolution of 2.8k.
The laptop has a dedicated GPU, which allows for good gaming performance.
The fan noise was always pretty low even under full load.
The RTX 450 is running as it should, making it suitable for casual gaming.
The swappable Wi-Fi 7 card and two fan solution are nice upgrades.
The laptop has a sleek and sturdy design with only four screws to remove.

Weaknesses

The battery life was not nearly as good as the 14in model, getting only 5 hours and 33 minutes before needing to charge.
The performance of the laptop was subpar, with multi-core speeds being lower than expected.
Single core clock speeds were identical to the competition, but multi-core speeds were way too low.
The CPU power output was also lower than expected, topping out at around 28-29 Watts.
The average core clock speeds were higher on the 14in model, which is puzzling.
The laptop's performance profile did not make a difference in pushing the laptop to its full potential.
