Pros and Cons

HP ZBook x2 G4

Strengths

HP does a factory calibration that was pretty good out of the box.
The pen experience is superb, it's so close to genuine Wacom products including the software control being the same.
The display is just lovely, with very wide color gamut and decent contrast ratio.
The pen driver is exactly like a dark themed version of Wacom Cintiq and mobile studio pro control panel complete with pen settings for pressure curves and per app settings.
It's great for Illustrator and other programs where sometimes you find like other pens are still not as well supported.
HP quick keys are basically Express keys on each side, so lefty righty it's all good.
The build quality is tanky, making it a unique piece in its class.

HP ProBook x360 435 G7

Strengths

The design looks just like most high-end consumer laptops nowadays, it's made entirely of aluminum and it's basically premium to the touch and really sturdy at that.
The Ryzen 7 4700u is a great performer, with admirable results in Cinebench R20 and decently well in Davinci Resolve
The display is great for general usage or watching videos on YouTube, with a max brightness of about 380 nits
The trackpad feels great, with no qualms at all and the keyboard was comfortable to type for long periods at a time
The speakers were also decent, with up-firing speakers from the deck you get pretty clear sound and a decent sound stage
HP provides a pen with the ProBook so if you're the kind of person who prefers to jot down notes physically or perhaps you're more into sketching or drawing this is quite a nice touch
The privacy filter on the webcam is also a nice feature, so there you have it
The laptop has extended warranty coverage, which is one of the main advantages of going for business laptops now in this day and age
AMD's Ryzen 7 4700u offers much more performance for the value, making it a great option for those looking to balance between thermals and performance
