Pros and Cons

Lenovo 300e Chromebook Gen 3

Strengths

The build quality is great, with an all-plastic ABS build that feels tough and well-made.
The rechargeable USI stylus pen is great to have, and the fact that it's garage in the Chromebook makes it convenient and easy to use.
The performance of the AMD 3015c processor is decent for most normal tasks, and the battery life is good, lasting up to 10.8 hours according to Lenovo's tests.
The 11.6-inch IPS HD screen is bright enough for indoor use, although the bezels might be a bit large.

Weaknesses

The weight of the Chromebook is around 1.31 kg (2.89 pounds), which is not the lightest.
The speakers are not the best in terms of quality, but they do feel loud enough.
The Celeron N4500 processor might be a better option for some users, although benchmark tests suggest that there may not be a huge real-world difference compared to the AMD 3015c processor.
Some users might find the keyboard and trackpad to be just okay, although they are still very well-made.

Samsung Galaxy Chromebook 2 360

Strengths

It has a decent bit of life left with Chrome OS updates till June 2031.
The build feels very robust when closed and looks pretty smart to my eye.
The touchscreen display is really good, perhaps too nice considering the processor and RAM it's paired with.
It's fully convertible, offering a range of uses including tablet mode.
The screen has a 2560x1600 WQXGA resolution, above full HD but not at 4K.
The speakers get loud enough if used in a clamshell set up on a surface like a desk.
It's Bluetooth 5.1 and Wi-Fi 6 compatible.

Weaknesses

The Intel Celeron N4500 processor is from 2021, not exactly the latest.
Only 4GB of RAM which may cause performance issues with heavy use.
128GB of storage (although there are 64GB models available).
Typing experience on the keyboard isn't what I'd call enjoyable due to deep key travel and little feedback.
The touchpad is plastic, small, but feels well constructed.
Performance-wise for a single user, it's okay with light browsing, but may struggle with more demanding tasks.
It would be better if the Pentium Silver from this generation (n6000) was used instead of the Celeron.
