Pros and Cons

Lenovo Chromebook Flex 5

Strengths

Good battery life about to 9 hours working from a single charge
13.3 inches touch screen with 1080p resolution and 300 nits display brightness
Most comfortable backlit keyboard I've ever used, spill resistant and 360 degrees flexible design
USB type-c ports, USB type-a port, micro sd card slot and regular audio jack for connectivity options
Unique minimalistic and aesthetic design that's so lightweight (1.3 kilograms) and portable

Weaknesses

720p webcam can be blocked by a toggle, but might be a concern for security
Touchpad quality could be better compared to Macbook touchpads
Speakers are not the best, but they do the job for casual use like watching movies
Huge bezel below the screen (1.5 fingers thick) can be a design flaw
Cannot install mac or windows applications on chrome os machine, which might limit software options

HP 470 G7

Strengths

Large display: This is the main reason why people would buy the 470 g7 so thank goodness it's good great for video streaming or productivity excellent viewing angles color coverage and decent brightness on this large 17.3 inch panel
Decent performance: The combination of a shiny new 10th gen I 710 510 u CPU, 16 gigabytes of memory, and a fast M to drive gives power users a polished laptop for medium to heavy application usage
Upgrade options: The g7 is flexible when it comes to upgrade ability with a 2.5 inch SATA drive bay m dot 2 m vm e drive support and dual channel memory twin slots
Good performance under battery power: HP engineers have rotted the CPU more so under battery power only to squeeze every ounce of performance

Weaknesses

Poor build quality: The chassis on the 470 is made entirely of plastic with no premium feature, this wouldn't be too bad but the fitting materials and the opportune of the lid scratched easily when we had it and buckled under little pressure
Big and heavy: The majority of people will expect the 470 g7 to be big in dimensions and heavy but don't expect to move the g7 at all, it's not at all portable due to its ungainly proportions
No USB type-c port: It's a small nitpicking point but nowadays I would expect a USB type-c port with something price like the 470 g7
Average battery life: The free cell 41 what our battery is average for general usage at six to seven hours, considering the size of the laptop I would have expected a bigger battery and therefore longer battery life
