Pros and Cons

Lenovo IdeaPad Slim 3i

Strengths

You always get one nice thing on the laptop but not all the nice things that you get on a more expensive one so for this one the nice thing is the touch panel here it looks very very nice for a lowcost device
The performance isn't bad here either although again we're struggling a bit with only 8 gabt of ram when we've got higher end tasks that we might want to do on it
It's one of those typical trade-offs you have to consider when you are shopping for a lowcost laptop
If you were looking to run an alternative operating system this might be something to consider for that especially given its price point

Weaknesses

No specific cons listed for this device

Lenovo Yoga Duet 7

Strengths

The Yoga Duet's metal body feels incredibly sturdy and high quality.
The 13 inch display has a 16 by 10 aspect ratio, resolution of 2160 by 1350, resulting in 196 pixels per inch, cutters on the screen look vibrant and to life thanks to its 100 percent sRGB color gamut.
The keyboard cover attaches reasonably strongly to the tablet when put together, the attraction is strong once connected, they won't be easily broken apart.
Editing videos in PowerDirector is generally smooth, filters and animations didn't take long to get applied to all layers of clips
The computer features a PCIe NVMe SSD, resulting in quite decent read and write speeds
The system didn't slow down even when opening a dozen webpages in Chrome, it also has no problem streaming 4k YouTube videos.

Weaknesses

There's no fingerprint reader on board.
The keyboard cover won't tilt up for more comfortable typing angle like the Surface Type Cover does.
The pen supports 4096 levels of pressure but there's a slight amount of latency which makes it feel less instantaneous than the Apple Pencil.
Some 3D games and big applications may suffer from the single-channel memory configuration, although this won't be noticeable for most users.
Fortnite was generally smooth in 720p but Conqueror's Blade didn't feel smooth at all even at 720p with no settings.
The battery life is not great, it gives about five to six hours of screen time in mixed usage.

Lenovo IdeaPad Slim 3i

The Lenovo IdeaPad Slim 3i is a budget-friendly laptop that offers a unique set of trade-offs for its price tag. With a sleek touch panel display, decent performance, and a reasonable price point, it's an attractive option for those on a tight budget. However, compromises are made elsewhere, such as limited RAM (8GB) and no upgradable storage, which may hinder more demanding tasks like gaming or video editing. Despite this, the Slim 3i remains a solid choice for basic productivity needs, making it worth considering for those seeking an affordable laptop solution.
