Pros and Cons

Lenovo ThinkBook 15 Gen 4

Strengths

The Lenovo ThinkBook 15 Gen 4 has a sleek and powerful design that's perfect for professionals, students, and anyone who needs reliable performance.
It comes with impressive specs like an Intel Core i7 processor, 40GB of RAM, and a speedy 1TB SSD, making it ideal for demanding workloads.
The keyboard and trackpad feel very premium, with comfortable typing and a smooth, accurate touchpad experience.
The laptop has excellent connectivity options, including Thunderbolt 4, an Ethernet port, and Wi-Fi 6, ensuring stable internet connections.

Weaknesses

The display is not as color-accurate or vibrant as more expensive Ultrabooks, making it less ideal for professional photo or video editing.
The integrated graphics are sufficient only for everyday tasks and light gaming, but won't handle demanding 3D workloads or AAA games.
Battery life falls short of ultra-portables, lasting around 6 to 8 hours under normal use.
While portable, the laptop is still a 15.6-inch device, making it less suitable for frequent travelers who need an ultra-compact model.

Lenovo Yoga 7i

Strengths

You can get a big display, plenty of ports, capable and efficient Intel chip, very good battery life, affordable price, and extremely versatile two in one
The battery life has been excellent so far and I've been using this laptop in balanced mode
The keyboard is nice and big with backlit keys, having two levels of brightness and all you need to do is hold the function button and then tap the space bar to cycle through the options
The track pad is nice and vague, it's been responsive and accurate for two finger scrolling or when I pinched a zoom
The camera is 1080p with a really nice touch of the privacy shutter so you can physically block the lens
You can get up to 16 gigabytes of DDR5 RAM which is plenty for what I need

Weaknesses

It's not intended to be a dedicated gaming laptop, it has integrated Intel Iris Xe graphics
The hinges are solid but might make it difficult to adjust the display in some modes
There's a trade-off between brightness and battery life with the 2.5K version which is one of the main reasons I chose the full HD Plus model
You can't upgrade the RAM, it's running in dual channel mode
The camera quality is only 1080p which might not be sufficient for some users
You need to get used to the offset track pad on the Palm Rest Assembly due to the number pad on the right
