Pros and Cons

Lenovo ThinkPad P14s Gen 3

Strengths

Good performance from the Intel i7 1260p CPU
Plenty of ports to keep you happy, including two Thunderbolt 4 USB C ports, HDMI 2.0 port, and a rare gigabit Ethernet port
Memory upgradeable on the Intel variant with one single SO-DIMM slot
Good display with an option to pay £20 for a brighter 400 nits and color accurate 100% sRGB panel
Decent security tools to protect your valuable data and privacy, including fingerprint sensor, IR camera, webcam privacy shutter, optional smart card reader, and Kensington Nano security slot
Long battery life of up to five to six hours of general use under performance mode

Weaknesses

Base model has a 45% NTSC display panel which may not be ideal for graphics work
Basic GPU (Nvidia t550) is not really suited for heavy workstation level work compared to the faster RTX A series found in larger mobile workstations like the ThinkPad P16
Fan noise can be an issue when running in performance mode, constantly on and impacting battery life and thermal heat
Battery life is poor considering it's aimed at on-the-go professionals
Display is average, so make sure you upgrade to a nicer 400 nits 100% sRGB panel instead
May not be the best choice if you need Ray tracing support or more powerful GPU for heavy workstation level work

Lenovo ThinkBook Plus Gen 5 Hybrid

Strengths

The system is convenient to have two systems together instead of separate
The keyboard and stylus make it a great productivity tool for both Windows and Android
The easel and stylus are useful accessories for using on both systems
The price will be discounted often, making it more affordable
The system is perfect for those who want to use both Windows and Android
The Quick Share feature allows easy file sharing between Android and Windows
The Duet software lets you share your trackpad and keyboard with your Android tablet without physically connecting them
Lenovo has a good idea behind the ThinkBook Plus Gen 5 Hybrid, even if it's overpriced

Weaknesses

The price is ridiculous, $3,500 for two systems combined is too high
The system can be replicated with Windows and Android separate at a lower cost
The cameras on the back are unnecessary and increase the weight and cost of the machine
Disconnecting the display locks Windows and ends any active calls or sessions
The system has continuity issues between the tablet and station, making it inconvenient to switch between systems
The cameras on the back take up valuable space and add unnecessary features
Lenovo's history of delivering timely Android updates is not great, and this may lead to outdated software
The price will scare off many potential buyers, making it hard for Lenovo to sell the system
