Pros and Cons

Lenovo ThinkPad X12 Detachable

Strengths

It's a solid performer, verging on regular ultrabook levels of performance.
The kickstand is sturdy and allows for infinite angles, making it comfortable for note-taking.
The display has good color gamut, full sRGB brightness, and supports touch and pen input.
The Wacom AES 2.0 pen input is pretty good stuff with palm rejection and diagonal line jitter not being a major issue.
Battery life is around 7-8 hours, which is really good, especially considering the small size of the device.
The included keyboard is nice and detachable, making it suitable for both typing and taking notes.

Weaknesses

No specific cons listed for this device

HP Victus 16

Strengths

It's a great price, a fantastic price I got the most powerful configuration that you can possibly buy with this machine and it only cost fourteen hundred dollars.
The design is simplistic yet somehow bold at the same time and it looks really cool and sleek yet somehow also professional looking as well.
Keyboard typing felt fantastic, the keys were super comfortable and the quality of the key presses and how quiet it was rivaled a lot of the other more expensive gaming laptops.
It's one of the best if not the best budget friendly bang for your buck laptops that you can possibly get right now.

Weaknesses

The screen wobble is the most I've ever seen on a gaming laptop, so it is worth noting in your purchase decision if you do a lot of hard typing on your lap or another unstable surface.
Unfortunately, the display's overall brightness was a little dim compared to most, and if you're gonna be in environments with a lot of ambient light it could affect your overall experience.
The lack of lighting effects (no RGB customizations and no animations) is not a big deal but a lot of gaming laptops have this and it looks really cool especially when they're animated.
The webcam's quality was only average, and there were no Windows Hello capabilities or fingerprint options on the keyboard.
