Pros and Cons

Lenovo ThinkPad X13 Gen 4

Strengths

its almost full-size keyboard with a comfortable touchpad for the compact size of the laptop
the incredible lightweight of the laptop weighing only 2.4 pounds, perfect for travel and great for those always on the move
a fully functional touch screen display that is pretty good and responsive to input
the battery life on the x13 lasts long enough to be good enough and charges back up in a respectable speed

Weaknesses

while the display is pretty good, I can't imagine graphic designers or product designers using this laptop as the vibrancy and sharpness just isn't quite up to par for someone who would be in figma or photoshop all day long
the camera was slow to load for me though and had problems adjusting in bright lights
I wish the trackpad was a little larger, but given that the majority of users probably will have a mouse paired to this device it's acceptable for travel and on the go
the starting price of about one thousand dollars might be considered high by some users

Lenovo ThinkBook 14 Gen 8

Strengths

The Lenovo ThinkBook 14 Gen8 I just might be the surprise winner in a crowded field of portable PCs.
It redefines what you can expect from a laptop under $1,200.
With two SDIM RAM slots and two M.2, 2280 storage slots, memory upgrades are both easy and flexible.
The Intel Core Ultra 7,255H processor powers through everyday tasks with ease and handles heavier workflows like multitasking, light content creation, and even some programming or design work.
The display is sharp at 1,920x1200 resolution and in the productivity-friendly 16:10 aspect ratio, it does the job just fine for reading, browsing, writing, or watching videos.
It shines with its array of ports, including Thunderbolt 4, a full-sized SD card reader, and RJ45 Ethernet.
