Pros and Cons

Lenovo Yoga Slim 7 Aura Edition

Strengths

Starting at under $1300, it's a good choice for those who want to use it for office work, but also for entertainment, like movies, browsing, social media, even casual games from the e-sports area.
It has excellent autonomy, solid and light, fitting well into the current trend of laptops with decent performance.
The processor offers increased autonomy, which is comparable to that of laptops with Snapdragon processors.
You can run other titles such as League of Legends or Valorant in decent conditions, and enjoy similar performance, making it good even for casual gaming sessions.
The laptop has a dedicated button on the keyboard for Copilot+, and a decent option as the one from AMD in terms of AI capabilities.
The average FPS was at around 110 in Counter-Strike 2, and the FPS did not drop below 80 in Fortnite, except in very demanding moments.

Weaknesses

The Multi-Core score is quite low, it should be taken into account that this processor is not focused on raw power, but on intelligent use of resources.
The Cinebench 2024 score was lower than the one obtained by Asus Zenbook S14 with the same processor, although still better than the score I got on the Asus Zenbook S14.
The UL Procyon AI Computer Vision test results were less than that of Ryzen AI 9 365 processor, but the Intel processor has other benefits such as increased autonomy.
The laptop's AI-related novelties didn't make a significant difference in real-world use, according to the reviewer's personal experience.
The reviewer found it unnecessary to have an AI telling them to turn off notifications or get up from the desk when they want to focus on work or take a break.
It has some software features that sound good in theory but don't make much of a difference in real-world use.

Lenovo ThinkPad P14s Gen 2

Strengths

The laptop has a nice and tactile keyboard with reasonable key travel, perfect for programmers and those who need to show CAD designs.
It features a sharp 4k display option that's not found on Lenovo's T series of laptops, making it stand out from the crowd.
The ThinkPad P14s Gen 2 has a lot of ports, including USB-C, which is great for productivity and connectivity.
The laptop's battery life is decent, with up to 9-10 hours of use in business light mode, thanks to its 51Wh battery.
It comes with a 65W fast charger that plugs into the USB-C port, making it easy to top up the battery quickly.

Weaknesses

The laptop's performance is not exactly stellar, with the Nvidia T500 card not being enough for serious CAD or architectural work.
The fans can get a bit loud when pushing the laptop hard, although they're well-tuned and not roaringly loud.
Surface temperatures can get hot on the underside if you push the laptop to its limits, but it's not usually an issue in normal use.
Replacing the RAM or Wi-Fi card is difficult due to their soldered-down nature, which may be a problem for some users.
The laptop's design, while nice to touch, can feel a bit cheap compared to other ultrabooks on the market.
