Pros and Cons

Microsoft Surface Pro 8

Strengths

Solid design solid keyboard pretty decent pen great cameras
The device has 256 gigs of storage, an intel i7 and it's an 11th gen g series processor which is probably the most powerful you're going to get in a mobile device like this
This set (i7 and 16 gigs of ram) is going to allow you to do most photo editing maybe some light video editing or honestly maybe some moderate video editing
The price is high but not necessarily the hardware it's not necessarily the specs it is the price you're paying a lot of money for device with these specs unfortunately
It comes down to this if you're looking to only buy a laptop and all you're going to use this for is a laptop then keep in mind with this device here you're compromising a little bit on the battery life and it is a lot more expensive
Anybody who's looking for either a very light slim travel friendly laptop or want the best two in one on the market i think this is a clear choice
Travelers students or just anybody who is not worried about the cost of this it's a fantastic device

Weaknesses

No specific cons listed for this device

Microsoft Surface Pro 7+

Strengths

I think it's the best Windows tablet you can buy right now
The designers did a great job, it's well made and the kickstand is super useful
The display, surface pen, and performance are as good as last year
Noticing better performance with new entry processors
Great laptop replacement, I did replace my notebook with it for this review
It's also great to watch Netflix, browse, or use it as a pure tablet

Weaknesses

The screen bezels could be thinner
Battery life is not the best, especially when playing games or working with Photoshop
Costs may be too high for some users
Older Surface Pro 6 models are still available at lower prices, making this one not worth upgrading to
iPad and Android devices might be better suited for watching Netflix and playing games
The price-point is comparable to laptops, but not necessarily a laptop's capabilities
