Pros and Cons

Motorola Moto G31

Strengths

The highlight of the g31, the thing that sets it above and most of its pairs at this sort of price point is the oled display
You can get some really nice snaps if the conditions are perfect then you can get some really nice snaps
There's no need to worry about battery drain as the mediatek processor is quite energy efficient
The camera app is stuffed with features including that uh camera ai action and plenty of bonus camera modes
You can expect pretty basic results but more often than not, you'll probably end up chucking a lot of snaps away especially if you're trying to shoot 11 subject which moves around
The selfie shooter does a decent job for everyday shareable shots

Weaknesses

The camera tech is rather basic as is the performance so are you tempted by the moto g31 be greater your thoughts down in the comments below
No 5g support sadly here on the moto g31 not given at this price point by any means
Just 10 watt charging which isn't exactly particularly nippy
The camera struggles really badly in low light or tricky conditions so definitely use it sparingly
Video modes are limited to full hd footage with no way of bumping that up to 4k level unfortunately there's no 60fps option either
Camera results can be thrown off by sharp contrast, extreme brightness and also low light making you chuck a lot of snaps away

Ulefone Armor 15

Strengths

The phone has built-in wireless earbuds that connect automatically when removed from the phone.
The earbuds sound pretty good, getting fairly loud with a lot of bass (although they don't support active noise cancellation or transparency mode).
The phone's speakers are also quite loud and face you when holding the device.
The phone has a customizable key that can open any application.
The fingerprint scanner is fast and reliable.
The phone supports NFC payments with Google Pay.
The price of the phone is inexpensive, making it hard to criticize its limitations.

Weaknesses

The screen doesn't get very bright, making it difficult to see outside.
The phone's CPU (Mediatek G35) is not fast, resulting in slower app loading and performance.
The phone's camera quality is decent at best, but not exceptional.

Motorola Moto G31

The Motorola Moto G31 is a budget-friendly smartphone that's making waves in the UK with its affordable price point of £169 for the 64GB base model. The standout feature of this device is its OLED display, boasting vibrant colors and deep blacks. However, its performance and camera capabilities may not be as impressive, leaving some to wonder if it's worth the investment. As we delve into the details, let's see how this phone stacks up against its competitors in the budget-friendly market.

Ulefone Armor 15

The Ulefone Armor 15 is a rugged smartphone that boasts impressive features at an affordable price. The device's design is unique, with two rubber flaps on top that conceal built-in wireless earbuds. These earbuds connect to the phone and can be used for hands-free calls, music streaming, and more. They are always charged and stored within the phone, eliminating the need for a separate charging case. The Armor 15 has a 5.45-inch IPS screen with a 720p resolution, which is decent but not exceptional. The device's performance is powered by the Mediatek G35 CPU, paired with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. While it's capable of running most applications, it's not the fastest phone on the market, with an Antutu score of around 130,000. The camera setup includes a main camera, ultra-wide camera, and selfie camera, but don't expect high-quality images from these cameras. The phone also features an NFC chip for contactless payments and a GPS unit that takes a few seconds to find your location. While the Armor 15 has some impressive features, such as its wireless earbuds and speakers, it's not the fastest or most powerful smartphone out there. However, considering its affordable price, it's hard to criticize it too harshly. Overall, the Ulefone Armor 15 is a solid choice for those looking for a rugged phone with unique features at an budget-friendly price.
