Pros and Cons

Motorola Moto G42

Strengths

The phone comes with a nice inclusion, a 20W charger and a Type-C to Type-A cable.
The device has a pretty decent display, a 6.4-inch AMOLED display at a resolution of 1080 x 2400, which is great for its price (around €200).
The phone's battery size is impressive, with a 5000mAh capacity, making it suitable for heavy users.
The charging speed is not bad at all, with a 20W charger that can quickly top up the battery.
The display is also quite good in terms of color accuracy and brightness.
The device has a triple camera setup, which might appeal to some users.
The phone's design is sleek and slim, making it comfortable to hold.

Weaknesses

The phone's RAM capacity is on the lower side, with only 4GB available.
There is no 5G connectivity, which is a drawback in today's market where most phones already have this feature.
The secondary camera (8MP ultra-wide) and macro camera (2MP) are not very impressive and can be considered as 'garbage sensors' by the reviewer.
The phone's chipset is a Snapdragon 680, which might not be powerful enough for demanding users.
The macro camera's performance is particularly disappointing, with the reviewer unable to take a clear photo even at close range.

Motorola Moto G10

Strengths

The back of the Moto G10 looks and feels very nice indeed.
It's probably one of the best budget smartphones ever released.
The build quality of this phone certainly isn't £100 for us, it's more like maybe three or four hundred pounds.
The camera on this phone is incredibly good and it's probably one of the best cameras I have ever seen on this lower price phone.
The night sight on the camera is incredibly good as well.
The charging speed of the phone is also good and you can basically run this phone all day every day without giving up on you.
The battery definitely delivers excellent battery life.
The build quality of this phone is one of the best features of it, it feels extremely solid in hands and it feels like a premium phone.

Weaknesses

The case is all plastic as you would expect on such a cheap phone.
I still can't figure out if the edges are some kind of plastic or actually metal.
The macro camera is pretty bad but still way better than for example Nokia cameras.
You might not get the best performance with a 10 watt charger, a better charger would make it charge faster.
There's zero indication that you can bend this phone even if you try to twist it in a way.
I wouldn't say all the other cameras are the best but they're actually quite usable
You don't get the best performance with this phone compared to flagship phones like Google Pixel.
The macro camera is not the best, but still better than Nokia.
