MSI Creator M16

Strengths

Its screen is big, color accurate, and offers a lot of good value compared to gaming laptops with similar specs.
The laptop has a large trackpad would have been great but was not mentioned in this version
Having three full USB ports plus one fast USB-C and HDMI is also a good feature.
The 12th gen processor makes it one of the best choices for its price.

Weaknesses

The laptop's design feels cheap at times, with an all-plastic build that doesn't feel premium.
It weighs almost five pounds, making it noticeable when carrying around.
Battery life is mediocre, averaging between three to four hours of mixed use, and dropping below an hour with gaming or GPU-intensive tasks.
The fans can get loud when doing resource-intensive tasks like video editing or gaming.

MSI Stealth GS66

Strengths

The high CPU power limit that's possible at the expense of GPU power, as that would help with content creator tests like Adobe Premiere and Adobe Photoshop.
It has excellent read and write speeds from the installed 1TB SSD.
You've got the option of pressing an epic cheat code to unlock the advanced BIOS.
Linux support was tested with Ubuntu 22.04 and it worked out of the box, except for Wi-Fi which didn't work.
The keyboard shortcuts for volume adjustment and keyboard brightness still worked, as well as the button to instantly max out the fan.
It has great performance in DaVinci Resolve, despite many of these being paired with lower tier i7 processors.
Intel 12th gen supports faster PCIe gen 4 storage.
