Is it Worth it?

The MSI Stealth 15 is a solid gaming laptop that impresses with its performance, battery life, and thermal management. The RTX 4060 GPU delivers comparable performance to the RTX 3070, while the Intel i7 13620h CPU shines with 10 cores and 4.9 GHz clock speed. However, the display is merely mediocre at 1080p IPS with 144Hz refresh rate. Despite this, the laptop's design and port selection make it a great value for its price. If you're looking for a reliable gaming laptop, the Stealth 15 is worth considering, but be aware that there are better options available if you're willing to pay more.

Build

The MSI Stealth 15 boasts a premium laptop feel, with a mix of aluminum and plastic construction. Weighing in at just over two kilograms, it's on the heavier side but not uncomfortable to carry. The laptop is also relatively thin, measuring 199mm thick, making it easy to slip into a bag. The design is understated yet effective, avoiding the garish aesthetics often associated with gaming laptops. Overall, the build quality feels solid and well-made, giving confidence in its durability and longevity. A pleasant weight and size make it easy to use both at home and on-the-go. Get your hands on MSI Modern 15 if you're looking for better build.

Display

The display on the MSI Stealth 15 is a mixed bag. It's a 1080p IPS panel with a 144Hz refresh rate, which provides smooth visuals for gaming and fast-paced content. However, it falls short in terms of quality, lacking HDR capabilities that would elevate its overall viewing experience. The panel can struggle to compete with higher-end displays, such as the MacBook Pro 16's Liquid Retina XDR display. While it gets the job done for casual use, it's not particularly impressive. Hooking up an external monitor at home is a viable option if you want a better visual experience. Consider discovering the power of Lenovo IdeaPad 3 Chromebook, featuring the latest advancements in display.

Performance

The MSI Stealth 15 is a top-notch gaming laptop that exceeds expectations. Its Nvidia RTX 4060 GPU delivers impressive performance, rivaling the RTX 3070 and 370 TI in terms of power. Paired with an Intel i7-13620h CPU, this laptop is a powerhouse. The RTX 460 GPU's 8GB of VRAM provides ample graphics memory, making it ideal for demanding games. In benchmarks, the Stealth 15 performed admirably, with smooth gameplay on its 1080p IPS display. Overall, this laptop's performance is outstanding, making it a solid choice for gamers seeking a reliable and high-performance machine. You might prefer Samsung Galaxy Chromebook 2 360, designed with an upgraded performance for a better experience.

Battery and Charging

The MSI Stealth 15 laptop boasts an impressive battery life, with the RTX 4060 model lasting up to 7 hours in my tests. The charging speed is also commendable, taking around 1 hour and 45 minutes to reach a 50% charge. This is a significant improvement over previous gaming laptops I've used. The battery life and charging speed make it an excellent option for those who need a powerful laptop that can keep up with their demands on the go.

Connectivity

The MSI Stealth 15 boasts an impressive array of ports, including two USB 3.2 ports, two USB-C ports, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and a Gigabit Ethernet port. The laptop also features Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.2 connectivity. While it lacks Wi-Fi 6C, the Gigabit Ethernet port provides an alternative for those who need high-speed internet access. A better alternative might be Microsoft Surface Pro X, featuring a next-level connectivity.

Features

The MSI Stealth 15 features NVIDIA's RTX 4060 GPU with 8GB VRAM, Intel Core i7-13620H CPU, 1TB storage, and a 1080p IPS display at 144Hz. It also includes Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.2, USB-A and C ports, HDMI 2.1, and a gigabit Ethernet port. You may find Asus ASUS ROG STRIX SCAR 17 a better fit, thanks to its superior features.

Support and Maintenance

The MSI Stealth 15 excels in support and maintenance, with a robust warranty program and dedicated customer service. The laptop's efficient cooling system and silent operation ensure minimal downtime, while the Intel i7 processor provides reliable performance. Regular BIOS updates also guarantee seamless integration with new software and hardware features.

Pros

1. it has blown me away not only in the performance point of view but the battery life but mainly in The Thermals and fan noise point of view

2. The laptop is made up of a mix of aluminum and plastic in certain parts but overall it's a very premium laptop feel as well as this it is just over two kilograms in weight so it's it's on the heavier end but it's not too heavy yeah it's kind of it's kind of standard for gaming laptops

3. For the price you cannot complain you are getting the latest gpus from Nvidia which will last you a long time now although it is the entry level laptop

4. You are getting one terabyte of storage although it's not the fastest SSD storage it's still a lot so at least when you're downloading games you can be able to put a lot of games on there

5. The ports on this laptop now you are getting quite a lot of options here you have two USB 3.2 ports as well as two USB C ports and my favorite part of this you are getting the HDMI 2.1 Port so if you have got a brand new TV or a monitor that does support 4K at high refresh rate you'll be loving life

6. It goes without saying these benchmarks are run while the laptop is fully plugged in but I'm sure that'll be what you're doing anyway

Cons

1. The display for this laptop I've got to be honest it's kind of mediocre it's not bad by any means but it is only a 1080p IPS panel and it is running 144 Hertz so you are getting a smooth display it's just not particularly good quality

2. The webcam on this isn't great it's only a state of 720p webcam but I doubt the main focus for anyone buying this laptop is going to be web calls but if that isn't that is you then keep that in mind it's only a 720p webcam and a lot of people do like to know um about the keyboard that comes with the laptop

3. The display doesn't have a HDR which might be a letdown for some users

4. You can get a better display on the higher model one around about 600 pounds more expensive which has a Quad HD display at 240 hertz so if you want that better quality display it might be worth looking at upping your budget to the higher model

5. The laptop's design is not too flashy or screams gaming laptop too much, but some users might find it boring
