Strengths

The display is certainly the high point, quite bright at 446 nits and with a 16 by 10 aspect ratio which is very popular.
It has a full P3 and a full sRGB 90% of Adobe RGB color gamut, making it ideal for content creation and graphic design.
The MSI pen that comes with the laptop is adequate for note-taking and casual use.
The port selection is geared towards content creators, with a micro SD card slot, two Thunderbolt 4 ports, and USB-A ports.
The battery life is decent, especially when using integrated graphics, and can last up to 6 hours on light tasks.
The laptop has a well-designed trackpad, although it may be slightly slippery.

MSI Stealth GS66

Strengths

The high CPU power limit that's possible at the expense of GPU power, as that would help with content creator tests like Adobe Premiere and Adobe Photoshop.
It has excellent read and write speeds from the installed 1TB SSD.
You've got the option of pressing an epic cheat code to unlock the advanced BIOS.
Linux support was tested with Ubuntu 22.04 and it worked out of the box, except for Wi-Fi which didn't work.
The keyboard shortcuts for volume adjustment and keyboard brightness still worked, as well as the button to instantly max out the fan.
It has great performance in DaVinci Resolve, despite many of these being paired with lower tier i7 processors.
Intel 12th gen supports faster PCIe gen 4 storage.
