Pros and Cons

OnePlus Nord 4

Strengths

The OnePlus Nord 4 has a shiny new flagship-killing mid-ranger design, with a metal uni-body made of aluminum that feels premium and slippery.
The phone comes with a powerful Snapdragon 7 Plus Gen 3 chipset, which is a step up from the regular Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 in pretty much all aspects, making it more powerful and bringing built-in AI capabilities.
The Nord 4 has a great battery life, with an active use score of 14 hours and 41 minutes, and supports 100W super-fast charging that can go from zero to full in just 28 minutes.
The phone's camera experience is good, especially the main cam which takes decent photos during the day with fine detail, accurate colors, and wide dynamic range.
The display on the Nord 4 is excellent, with a high resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, and 451 PPI sharpness, making it perfect for swiping and scrolling.
The phone comes with four years of major software updates and six years of security patches, which is a great commitment to long-term support.
The Nord 4 has stereo speakers that produce loud and full sound with decent bass and clean vocals.

Weaknesses

The camera experience on the Nord 4 is a mixed bag, with the main cam being good but lacking electronic stabilization in 4k video recording.
The ultra-wide cam takes soft photos and limited dynamic range in low light conditions, and videos are soft and lack detail.
Selfies from the 16MP front-facing cam are underwhelming, with soft details, low contrast, and washed-out colors.
The phone's design is slippery to hold due to its metal uni-body, which may not be ideal for everyone.

realme 14 Pro

Strengths

The color changing design is quite interesting, even if it's a gimmick over time. It feels much better than last year's Real Mi 13 Pro Plus or Xiaomi's Redmi Note 14 Pro Plus for that matter.
It has a solid premium and robust design, military standard A10 Edge compliant, shock resistant, and has all kinds of IP ratings like IP66, IP68, and ip69, which is a first in Realme's mid-range phone.
The display on this thing is nice too, with good color reproduction, touch response, and everything else. It has high PWM dimming, 120Hz refresh rate, works well, and the higher 1.5k resolution makes everything look sharp and RIS.
It also has a huge 6,000 mAh battery that easily gets over eight hours of screen on time with this phone, so 1.5 days of battery life plus it charges pretty fast like within 55 minutes with its 8wat charger.
The camera performance is decent, with good color reproduction and sharpness in images. The primary lens does a fantastic job during nighttime too, with nice details and exposure management.

Weaknesses

It's not the most balanced mid-range phone mainly because of its average performance and a lack of a good Ultra wide lens.
The ultra-wide camera has an average resolution (8 megapixel) that results in average ultra-wide angle images during daytime as well as night, and you cannot shoot 4K videos with it.
You have to settle for 1080p video recording when switching from the primary camera to the ultra-wide camera.
The Snapdragon 7s gen 3 chipset doesn't support 4K 60 FPS recording, so the max you can shoot from the main and front camera is 4K 30 FPS with quality issues like movement wble.
It's not perfect for every aspect, it has some flaws like average performance, ultra-wide lens issues and lack of better chipset which could have made it a king among mid-range phones.
