Pros and Cons

Razer Blade 17

Strengths

The machine is just beautiful, it definitely feels like it's built out of pretty premium materials which gives you the impression that it's gonna last a really long time.
Sound quality is MacBook Pro level, I was pretty impressed considering many gaming laptops have speakers that sound almost worse than smartphone speakers.
Webcam finally stepped up to 1080p and does look quite a bit better than the others.
The machine had Macbook pro level quality

Weaknesses

Price is a major concern, Razer Blade 17 is quite expensive compared to its competition for what it can do and no options that i've seen so far for discounts
Battery life is terrible, the machine absolutely burns through power do not get this computer if you plan to use it unplugged pretty frequently.
Performance isn't as fast as the competition, especially when comparing it to other machines with gpus with 175 watts max graphics power versus the 165 with this one.
Keyboard is uncomfortable to type on, key presses are just so shallow that sometimes it almost made me second guess whether I actually fully pressed a key or not.

The laptop has a good array of ports
The screen is absolutely beautiful and the 120Hz refresh rate is the icing on the cake
It's slim enough to easily carry around all day
The efficient performance makes it perfect for writers, content creators, content consumers, or anyone who values having this amazing screen
It excels for General use and even for light gaming

Weaknesses

The battery life is not impressive, with only 8 hours and 23 minutes of streaming YouTube at 200 nits of brightness
Intel's battery performance on this laptop could be improved further to reach over 10 hours
It's not designed for heavy-duty video editing or AAA gaming at high FPS
The fans can get loud when under load, but it's consistent and doesn't ramp up and down
The price might be a barrier for some users
