Pros and Cons

realme 14 Pro

Strengths

The color changing design is quite interesting, even if it's a gimmick over time. It feels much better than last year's Real Mi 13 Pro Plus or Xiaomi's Redmi Note 14 Pro Plus for that matter.
It has a solid premium and robust design, military standard A10 Edge compliant, shock resistant, and has all kinds of IP ratings like IP66, IP68, and ip69, which is a first in Realme's mid-range phone.
The display on this thing is nice too, with good color reproduction, touch response, and everything else. It has high PWM dimming, 120Hz refresh rate, works well, and the higher 1.5k resolution makes everything look sharp and RIS.
It also has a huge 6,000 mAh battery that easily gets over eight hours of screen on time with this phone, so 1.5 days of battery life plus it charges pretty fast like within 55 minutes with its 8wat charger.
The camera performance is decent, with good color reproduction and sharpness in images. The primary lens does a fantastic job during nighttime too, with nice details and exposure management.

Weaknesses

It's not the most balanced mid-range phone mainly because of its average performance and a lack of a good Ultra wide lens.
The ultra-wide camera has an average resolution (8 megapixel) that results in average ultra-wide angle images during daytime as well as night, and you cannot shoot 4K videos with it.
You have to settle for 1080p video recording when switching from the primary camera to the ultra-wide camera.
The Snapdragon 7s gen 3 chipset doesn't support 4K 60 FPS recording, so the max you can shoot from the main and front camera is 4K 30 FPS with quality issues like movement wble.
It's not perfect for every aspect, it has some flaws like average performance, ultra-wide lens issues and lack of better chipset which could have made it a king among mid-range phones.

Oppo K12

Strengths

The Oppo K12 features a fast refresh rate OLED display with a resolution of 2408 x 1080 pixels, supporting a refresh rate of 120Hz.
It has a super fall resistance structural design, making it durable and reliable.
The phone comes with a huge battery (5,500 mAh) and supports fast charging (100W Super VOOC).
The Oppo K12 features a power management chip that enhances battery efficiency, ensuring longer battery life and increased durability.
It has a great multimedia experience with good visibility even outdoors thanks to its 10bit color depth OLED display.
The phone's camera features a 50-megapixel Sony IMX 882 sensor with Optical image stabilization, producing above-average quality photos.
The Oppo K12 is available in three storage variants (8/256GB, 12/256GB, and 12/512GB), making it suitable for various user needs.

Weaknesses

There's no mention of the phone's weight or dimensions, which might be a concern for some users.
The Oppo K12's camera performance is described as 'above-average,' which might not satisfy those looking for top-notch photography capabilities.
There's no specific information about the phone's gaming performance beyond playing Honor of Kings at 120 frames per second.
Some users might find the design a bit plain or uninspired, despite its professional look and comfortable grip.
The phone's price is not explicitly mentioned in the review text, which makes it hard to compare with other devices.
There's no discussion about the phone's audio quality, which might be an important factor for some users.
Some readers might find the Oppo K12's processor (Snapdragon 7 Gen 3) a bit underpowered for heavy gaming or demanding tasks.
