The Realme C20 is an affordable smartphone that comes with two storage variants - 2GB + 32GB and 4GB + 64GB. I purchased the 2GB + 32GB variant for ₹7,000 from Amazon, which is a decent price considering the features it offers. Inside the box, you'll find a headset, charger, USB data cable, sim ejector tool, safety guide, quick guides, and a 5000mAh battery. The phone itself has an 8-megapixel camera with f/2.0 aperture on the rear and a 1-megapixel camera in the front. The Realme C20 features a Mediatek Helio G35 processor with octa-core processor and GPU with PowerVR GE8320, which is sufficient for everyday tasks. It also comes with Android 10 out of the box with the Realme UI. The phone has a 6.5-inch screen with 720x1600 pixels resolution, 20:9 ratio, and 270 PPI density. The display looks decent considering the price, but it's not outstanding. You'll get a lot of bloatware, which can be uninstalled immediately. The camera is okay, with one-click image capture and acceptable quality. However, it's not an amazing camera by any means. The Realme C20 is a great option for those looking for a budget phone in the ₹7,000 range. It offers good value for money considering its features and performance. If you're on a tight budget and want a smartphone that can handle everyday tasks, the Realme C20 is definitely worth considering.
The Realme C25Y is a budget smartphone that boasts a 50-megapixel primary camera, which is a notable feature in its price range. The device's design is similar to previous C-series models, with a textured finish and a physical fingerprint sensor on the back. However, the screen resolution is only 720p, which may be disappointing for some users. The phone's camera quality is impressive, especially in bright lighting conditions. Details are sharp, colors look natural, and dynamic range is acceptable. The primary camera takes decent images, while the macro and black-and-white cameras work poorly. The selfie shooter produces good images considering its price point. However, the device's performance is let down by an entry-level Unisoc T610 chipset, which is a below-average processor for Realme. This chipset is not as powerful as those found in other budget smartphones from the brand. The phone offers 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage, although this can be expanded with a microSD card. The battery life is a redeeming feature, with up to two days of use on a single charge, and fast charging that can top up the device in under an hour and a half. The phone runs on Android 11.0 with Realme's UI, but the display resolution could have been better. Overall, the Realme C25Y is a decent option for those looking for a budget smartphone with good camera quality and long battery life. However, its performance is hindered by an underpowered chipset, and the price point may be confusing due to these limitations.
