The phone features a stunning 6.78-inch 1.5K super retina eye protection screen with a diamond-like pixel arrangement, supporting 10-bit color depth and a 120Hz refresh rate.
The Vivo S17 Pro's camera system has been upgraded with a water mirror and Cloud window design, featuring a larger area for the two cameras, as well as a soft light ring that can fill the face anytime and anywhere.
The phone is equipped with a 4600mAh battery that supports fast charging at up to 80W.
Weighing in at just 188 grams, the Vivo S17 Pro is extremely lightweight and easy to hold with one hand.
The phone's JN150MB megapixel super light-sensitive portrait lens supports free zoom from 0.8x to 2x, making it ideal for capturing stunning portraits.

Weaknesses

Unfortunately, the Vivo S17 Pro still doesn't feature stereo dual speakers, a trait that's become all too familiar in the S series.
The phone still relies on a rotor motor that's been criticized for being outdated and not up to par with modern standards.

Xiaomi Redmi note 12 Pro

Strengths

The phone's display is a 6.67 inch AMOLED with a 1080p resolution, a 120hz refresh rate, and Gorilla Glass 5 protection. It's pretty much the same display as the Pro Plus but we measure the max brightness as a bit less here it's still great though - 490 nits for the manual slider which can boost to 890 nits in auto mode.
The performance of the phone is satisfying when it comes to both multitasking and gaming, with great thermal management.
The cameras are decent, with a 50 megapixel main cam that takes great photos for the class, and a good dynamic range.
The battery life is quite solid, with an endurance rating of 97 hours in our proprietary tests.
Fast charging is supported at up to 67 watts, which is still very fast.
It's considered way cheaper than the Pro Plus model.

vivo S17 Pro

The Vivo S17 Pro has been released with an updated design that features a main mountain sea green color scheme. Inspired by the fashionable fluid vision, the phone's appearance boasts a freehand charm and creates a three-dimensional landscape on a micron scale. In terms of specifications, the Vivo S17 Pro sports a 6.78-inch 1.5K super retina eye protection screen with a resolution of 2800 x 1260, 452 PPI, and 10-bit color depth. The phone also features a new diamond-like pixel arrangement, 120Hz refresh rate, and a contrast ratio of 8 million to 1. The camera module has been upgraded to a water mirror and cloud window with a larger area, and the soft light ring is located below the camera, consistent with its size. The Vivo S17 Pro also features a JN150MB megapixel super light-sensitive portrait lens that supports four-in-one pixels, ultra-wide-angle, and high-pixel advantages. The phone is equipped with the same Dimensity 8200 as the s16 pro, up to 12GB of RAM, and 512GB of storage. It also features an 80W fast charging system, a 4600mAh battery, and NFC support. In terms of performance, the Vivo S17 Pro meets expectations, delivering normal performance from the Dimensity 8200 processor. The phone's temperature is within acceptable limits, around 43°C. Overall, the Vivo S17 Pro offers an excellent combination of design, camera capabilities, and performance. While it retains some familiar criticisms, such as the use of a single speaker and rotor motor, its standout features make it a compelling choice for those who value selfies and portraits.

Xiaomi Redmi note 12 Pro

The Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Pro is a solid mid-range smartphone that stands out from its counterparts with a more powerful chipset and stereo speakers. It features a 6.67-inch AMOLED display with a 1080p resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, and Gorilla Glass 5 protection. The device also has a side-mounted fingerprint reader and comes with 128 or 256GB of storage, but lacks expandability. The Redmi Note 12 Pro is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 1080 chip, which provides improved CPU and GPU performance compared to last year's model. The device has a 5,000mAh battery that lasts up to 97 hours in our tests, although it only supports 67W charging, which is still relatively fast. The camera setup includes a 50MP main camera, an 8MP ultra-wide lens, and a 2MP macro sensor. While the 50MP camera may seem like a downgrade from last year's model, it produces great results with sufficient detail, low noise, high contrast, and punchy colors. The main camera can also record 4K videos at 30fps, which are impressive in terms of detail and color accuracy. In conclusion, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Pro is a well-rounded mid-range smartphone that offers good performance, a great display, and decent camera capabilities. While it may not be perfect, it's solid for its price and worth considering for those looking for an affordable option.
